Leopold Figl (2 October 1902 â 9 May 1965) was an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÃVP) and the first Chancellor after World War II. As foreign minister, he subsequently took part in the negotiations on the Austrian State Treaty, which he signed in 1955.
