Biography
Anita Lasker-Wallfisch MBE (born 17 July 1925) is a German-British cellist, and a surviving member of the Women's Orchestra of Auschwitz. Wallfisch co-founded the English Chamber Orchestra and she has been honoured and thanked by the British and German governments for her work. Her portrait is part of the Royal Collection.
