Biography
Hardy was the pseudonym of Robert Barcia, also known as Roger Girardot (22 July 1928 in Paris â 12 July 2009 in Créteil), a French politician who was leader of the Internationalist Communist Union (UCI), an international Trotskyist organisation centred on the minor political party Lutte Ouvrière (LO). Barcia was only known by his cadre name, Hardy, even to the majority of LO members.
