About
Kherson pre-trial detention centre (SIZO) documented by the Centre for Civil Liberties as holding civilians detained by Russian forces during the occupation (March–November 2022). CCL collected survivor testimonies describing beatings, electric shock and other forms of torture during interrogation. The facility was in pre-existing Ukrainian state infrastructure taken over by Russian authorities.
